Five Days of Texas Style Fun

Starting from the evening of Thursday May 22nd 2008 until noon on Memorial Day Monday May 26th, the Dallas Taiseer un Nikah Committee has organized an exciting five day Taaruf program. We hope to make this experience very memorable and successful for each participant. Most of all, we would like you to have five days of fun, Texas Style.

| Accommodation and Transportation |
|
The Mumineen of Dallas extend a warm 'southern' welcome to all participants in the Taaruf Program and would be honored for you to stay at their homes. If you have any special requirements please let us know and we will be happy to accommodate you. Transportation will also be provided to all participants. We would also like to cordially present our 'izan' for jaman throughout the entire event.

| Registration |
|
Registration ends on April 20th, 2008. There is a fee of 215.00 US$ to attend the Taaruf in Dallas.

| Wednesday May 21st 2008 Jamadil Awwal 17th 1429 |
| Counselor Workshop |
| Counselors are expected to arrive one day before the Taaruf program begins. A workshop aimed to develop counseling skills and to improve communication methods is planned to take place in the evening. Counselors will also get the chance to talk to other counselors to ensure the success of the Taaruf Program. |

| Thursday May 22nd 2008 Jamadil Awwal 18th 1429 |
| Reception of Candidates |
| Candidates will begin to arrive in Dallas throughout the morning and afternoon. They will be welcomed at the airport and taken to their accommodations. Dallas Mumineen would like to welcome all participants of the Taaruf Program to stay with them at their homes.
At 5:00 PM they will arrive at Saifee Masjid for a reception. During this time they will get the chance to meet their counselors in person and talk to them one on one. At 7:00 PM Darees ni Majlis will take place and the Texas Taaruf 2008 program will begin. This will be followed by a dinner. |

| Friday May 23rd 2008 Jamadil Awwal 19th 1429 |
| Shitabi Taaruf |
| The Shitabi Taaruf is an event designed to allow all participants in the program to meet one another.
At 10:00 AM Candidates will be shown a special video on the philosophy and concept of marriage within our culture. This will be highlighted with the Kalemaat Nooraniyah of Aqa Moula TUS.
At 11:00 AM The Shitabi Taaruf will begin and the event will take place with snacks, activities, and lunch, for the rest of the day. |

| Saturday May 24th 2008 Jamadil Awwal 20th 1429 |
| Meeting One-on-One |
| The one-on-one meetings are organized to allow candidates in the Taaruf Program to get to know people who they are interested in better. This event will begin at 10:00 AM in the morning. The event will be followed by an entertaining outing which will literally give you a good 'taste of Texas.' |

| After two days of Taaruf activities we know that your minds will need rest as well as the need to have some good old fun. On this day, we have planned an outing which we guarantee you will enjoy. |

| Brunch and Departures |
| On Memorial Day Monday, please take pleasure in having a brunch at the Masjid complex and also take the time to talk extensively with your counselors about your experiences in the Taaruf Program. We know you will have had an experience of a lifetime. |
